We’ve formed a team of people with long histories as development,
marketing and communications professionals in a variety of nonprofit
settings. Together we bring more than 120 years of experience to
our consulting practice.

of an experienced and close-knit team of professionals who understand
the culture, context and constituencies of denominationally related
organizations.
Rich
came to Advancement Associates after a long career at Goshen College
where, among other positions, he was director of advancement. Combining
formal education (Arizona State University) with 30 years of experience,
Rich is a unique resource in institutional advancement.
Becky’s previous experience includes a long tenure in banking where her final position was senior vice president in business development and sales. Later she served as vice president of advancement at Adriel School in West Liberty, Ohio. .
Dan
has been a communication consultant for more than 35 years and taught
communication at Goshen College for more than three decades. He
consults nonprofit and for-profit organizations in the areas of
personal, organizational, and cross-cultural communication. A dynamic
and upbeat communicator, Dan is a natural motivator.
Mike is professor of marketing at Anderson University (IN). He has consulted and directed research with many different national/international church groups and has worked as program evaluator in the nonprofit sector and facilitator in congregational planning.
Sherilyn graduated from Bethel College (North Newton, KS) and has experience in both writing and coordinating production of promotional print pieces, advertisements and video. She is also trained to write grant proposals (2004 Grantsmanship Training Center). Sherilyn has contributed to Keyboard Companion, a leading piano pedagogy journal, and to the 2006 Lenten resources put out by Mennonite Church USA.
